This term we have been learning about Metallurgy and the different properties of different metals and alloys. Here's a list of different metals, Gold, Silver, Iron, Steel, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Aluminium, Tin, Nickel etc. There are also many varieties of Alloys such as, Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys, Bronze Alloys, Brass, Sterling Silver, Karat Gold etc. The most common metal for wires is Copper (Cu) because of its malleable and conductive build. Copper is conductive because it conducts the electricity through the wires.
